About
A small shop that would rather be right than busy
Four people, two bays and two mobile units. We have been detailing vehicles in Northgate since 2014, and the thing we are most careful about is not the polishing. It is telling you the truth about what your vehicle needs.
The story
It started with a car nobody else would touch
The first job was a black coupe with paint so heavily swirled that two shops had quoted a respray. It did not need one. It needed three days, a paint depth gauge and someone willing to work panel by panel instead of by the hour.
That is still the whole business model. We are not the cheapest and we are not the fastest, because both of those things are achieved by skipping steps that only show up as problems six months later.
What we are is predictable. The price you are quoted is the price you pay, the vehicle is inspected with you before you hand over money, and if something is not right you get it put right without an argument.

How we work
Six rules we do not bend
Some of these cost us money. All of them are why the same customers keep coming back.
We quote before, not after
The number you agree is the number you pay. If we find something mid-job that changes the work, we stop and ask rather than adding it to the invoice.
We will talk you out of things
A three-stage correction on a lease return is money you will never see again. We say so, lose the sale, and keep the customer.
One vehicle per bay per day
Full details get the whole day. Nothing is skipped to squeeze another car in behind you, which is the single biggest reason detailing goes wrong.
We measure instead of guessing
Paint depth readings on every panel before correction, recorded on your file, so a future visit knows how much clear coat is left.
We tell you what we cannot fix
Scratches through the clear coat, condensation inside a headlight housing, odour that has reached the evaporator. You hear it before you pay, not after.
We do not sell what we do not do
Boats and paint protection film go to people who specialise. We would rather refer you than learn on your vehicle.

Timeline
Eleven years, in order
- 2014
One bay, one polisher
Started as a single-bay operation on Foundry Row, taking correction work other shops turned down.
- 2017
Coating certification
Added ceramic coating after eighteen months of testing systems on our own vehicles first.
- 2020
First mobile unit
Built a fully self-contained van so exterior and interior work could happen at homes and offices.
- 2023
Second bay and second van
Doubled capacity without changing the one-vehicle-per-bay-per-day rule that got us here.
- 2026
Maintenance plans
Launched monthly plans after realising most correction work we did was undoing bad washing.
