A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your clear coat and cures into a hard, slick, hydrophobic layer. It does not replace washing, but it changes what washing means: dirt struggles to key into the surface, and most of it leaves with the rinse.
The coating is the easy part. What separates a coating that lasts seven years from one that fails in eight months is the preparation underneath it, which is why every coating here starts with correction and a full panel wipe-down.

Assessment under light
Paint depth and defect severity are checked under inspection lights, and we agree a correction level before any machine touches the car.

Correction
One to three stages of machine polishing to take the finish to the level the coating will lock in permanently.

Panel wipe
Every panel is stripped of polishing oils. This is the step that dishonest shops skip, and it is the one that decides whether the coating bonds.

Application
Coating laid down panel by panel, levelled at the right flash time, and checked at an angle for high spots.

Cure
Infrared curing followed by an overnight rest indoors. The vehicle stays with us until the coating is safe to expose to water.
Common questions
It adds hardness and makes light marring less likely, but it is not armour. Anything that would scratch your clear coat with real force will still leave a mark. Paint protection film is the answer for physical impact.
Yes, and washing it correctly is what keeps the warranty valid. The upside is that washing becomes far faster and far less risky, because contamination is not bonding to the paint the way it used to.
Correction alone is a full day or more on most vehicles, and the coating needs an uninterrupted overnight cure indoors. Anyone offering a coating in four hours is skipping the preparation.
Automatic brush washes, harsh alkaline cleaners, and skipping the annual inspection. All three are listed on the warranty card in plain English.
